Seeking:  Residency/Internship

We are currently in search for a 12 month intern/residency for our student ministries department.

CROSSPOINTE

We're a missional, passionate, reproducing, organic, big, small, fun, unique, non-conforming, contemporary, traditional, simple, complex, seeker, believing, non-denominational (we don't really like labels so instead of using none, we'll use them all) church committed to Jesus, each other, and helping people who have stopped listening to God to start listening again.  Since everyone always asks, about 1750 people hang out with us on Sundays.  If you want to know more, just go to www.crosspointe.org.

EXPECTATIONS

Love Jesus.  Love people.  Be excited to dive into the messy lives of people both far from God and near to God and love them.  We expect that you'll be driven to work hard and sabbath well.  We expect you to listen to Jesus and exercise wisdom.  We expect that you'll be committed to the people and families on our staff, not merely committed to your job.  We expect you to ask questions and want to learn, but we also expect you to unashamedly share your honest opinion in a spirit of love and grace.  We expect you to want to have fun and at least try to keep up with the latest episodes of  "The Office".  We expect you to hang out with us for 12 months...unless you don't think it's the most amazing place to come to work everyday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work alongside our Student Minister and our ministry team volunteers to make everything associated with student ministries happen.  While there is grunt work involved we will also hand you real responsibilities and challenge you to dream, lead, teach, and administer critical aspects of the ministry.  You will also participate in our overall staff culture and various ministries that go beyond working with students.  Lastly, we'll discover what your strengths are to leverage those for your maximum personal growth and impact on the Kingdom.

GOAL

For your 12 month internship to blow your mind (in a good way) and in turn be a part of how the lives of Crosspointe students will be forever changed.

COMPENSATIION

  • $200 per week / $10,400 for entire commitment
  • housing during residency
  • 2 weeks vacation (plus Christmas to New Year's off)
